Kathryn Hearn
Soprano
Kathryn Hearn has been performing as a professional singer and teaching voice privately for many
years. She is currently a soprano soloist in the choirs of Christ Church Christiana Hundred and,
prior to coming to Christ Church, had a long tenure as a soloist with the choir of Grace United
Methodist Church in Wilmington. She is also a Member of the professional quartet which sings for
holiday services and other special occasions at Congregation Beth Emeth in Wilmington. Ms. Hearn is
a graduate of West Chester University, and she subsequently studied at the renowned Academy of
Vocal Arts in Philadelphia. She has appeared as a recitalist in a number of regional venues, and
has sung with Chorale Delaware, CoroAllegro and Opera Delaware. In addition, she is employed at
Grace Preschool as a kindergarten teacher.
