Violinist Thomas DiSarlo appears as concerto soloist with NSO for
the first time this year, but he has been an annual guest on the NSO
Chamber Series since 1992, dazzling our audiences with spectacular
works for unaccompanied violin by Bartok, Ysaye, Bach and Ernst, as well
as many fine chamber works. He has been a soloist with the Pittsburgh
Symphony, Concerto Soloists of Philadelphia, Mozart Orchestra and numerous
regional orchestras. Other professional affiliations have included the
Pennsylvania Ballet and Opera orchestras, Concerto Soloists, Pennsylvania
String Quartet, Rutgers String Quartet, the Richmond Chamber Players and
Main Line Chamber Players. Mr. DiSarlo has served as concertmaster of
the Delaware County Symphony since 1991and a repeat soloist in concerti
by Beethoven, Brahms, Lalo, Dvorak, Sarasate, Paganini, Prokofiev and
Glazunov. He performs and records as concertmaster of the Ama Deus
Ensemble on the Vox Classics label.
