performance of the Grand Duo by Stuart Dick, a retired member of our own
viola section.

This, our second annual concert for young people, will last
approximately one hour and will present the very talented and inspiring
young violin students of Kathleen Hastings as soloists. Also, renowned
Scottish singer and folklorist Christina Harrison will narrate the
exciting adventure of Peter and the Wolf.

Two journeys to London in the 1790's resulted in the creation of Haydns
last 12 symphonies, an opera and a number of other works. The Nelson
Mass was first performed for the English Admiral in honor of his defeat
of Napoleon's fleet in 1800.
